Carnival court
Each year a Carnival Queen and (usually two) Princesses are selected to represent Great Dunmow at Carnivals all over Essex. This tradition started over 60 years ago with our first Carnival Queen, June Brown (nee Devoil) in 1951.
A carnival court selection evening for 2025 will be held on the 25th of April. If you want to be involved, please fill out the form here.

The Carnival Court will represent Great Dunmow at 8 carnivals across Hertfordshire and Essex throughout the summer including:
